I can see the blue, even though its not strong. I thought this would have done better.

I wish the blue would show much better since the orange really overpowers this image. Great shot nonetheless.

In order for complementary colors - you need two: gold/purple, blue/yellow. Hmmmm - I like the perspective and the silhouette, but I don't see two colors here.

The complementary colour of orange is blue but I don't see any blue in your photograph. Nice orange though.
