 One of Las Coronados islands 10 miles off the Pacific coast slightly south of Tijuana, Baja California. Shot during a weekend Baja trip. The sunset colors, while subtly present in the original, of course have been adjusted and amplified a lot during RAW conversion and subsequent brightness/contrast/hue/saturation/levels tweaking in Photoshop (all within legal basic rules). Neat Image (of course :)), even though it was not really necessary here, very slight sharpening.

As it is, the water is distracting. It is really dark, and would have been better if you used the rule of thirds or cropped it out entirely. The sky seems oversaturated and over contrasty.

Beautiful shot. You may have been able to get away with this in the negatove challenge and do well there too. Great colors and detail in the clouds. Very nice. Hey - I just noticed the bird. Bumping up.

6 - Wow. Not sure what you've done here pp, but the colors have come off good. A tighter crop at the top and, not sure but perhaps 'something' with what appears to be the water surface, to get it maybe most subtle, no idea how though, especially in basic editing, make this even better in my opinion. Just noticed the.. plane or bird.. maybe 'enhancing' that via a tighter crop/framing variation, especially for this size, not sure.
