Nice colours, very vibrant. the focus seems a bit soft to me on what I preceive as the focal point (the flower). I my eyes tend to go towards the more sharp parts of the pic, which are for me the tip of the leaf to the left of the pic. Good luck in the challenge!

cool

the focus is excellent but the background is still a bit distracting for me

good composition

uninterestingly presented. 3.

hmm seems a little busy, not too sure what I should be focusing on here

I really like the composition here. It is really well balanced and strong by having the red/pink flowers in the lower right and the green leaves in teh upper left. There are some parts fo the flower petals that look a bit oversharpened to me, though.

Too many distractions in this one for me. Nice colours though.

Red and green makes for complimentary colors. This works but has hardly any appeal. A 6 from me and I wish you good luck in this challenge.

One of the reasons I didn't enter this challenge was because I was not creative enough to think of a picture that exhibited complementary colors and didn't involve a flower... I see that you too have failed at at least one of these. Your flash, or whatever light source, bleached the color on the pinkish red of the upper-most leaf... A bit more contrast, softer light, along with a little cropping of the dead vegetation would have produced a decent photograph. 4

Sharper please

not bad

the stuff at the top left is distracting ... crop tigher on the red leaves

3 - Composition is quite good. A more refined crop, focus a litlte more forward/to the right, make this better in myopinion. Not sure on the frame.

The lighting seems awfully harsh on this. A later time in the day might have worked better.

I might have cropped out the bud area along the left (and the top for ratio sake.) Pretty colors, but maybe a little Curves filter. 7
