Ok, I am really perplexed with this challenge. Seems simple, take an image, invert, etc, etc. I worked on some shots, and actually really liked them, but I couldn't help but think, man, this is just way too 'digital art' for dpc...but then, is that what this challenge is kind of??? I don't know, maybe I'm way off base.

Anyways, this is the image I have chosen. Bring on the punishment, it will only be yet another in a string of stinkers I have been submitting lately :-) I guess my thinking has just been kind of warped as of late.

So yeah, this is a self portrait. I've been messing around with similar shots and heavy handed processing and along came this challenge. My daughter saw what I was working on and said "Whoa, what kind of freaky wolf is that?" I was going for a 'beast' thing, and thought yeah, it is kind of 'were-wolfish'. The title is from Russian, Gracian, and Peruvian legend, where the seventh son is cursed and becomes a were-wolf. I thought it was kind of cool.

A close-up, sharp angle from above. Used my shop lights bounced off the ceiling, and one clamp light from farther away. In ps- cropped, quad tone, invert, selective color adj, levels adj, and curves adj.

Well, maybe someone will like this, then I'll be happy. Thanks for checking out my pic :-)
