Hey there from the Critique Club
I have to admit, this negative challenge has been very difficult to score, and even more difficult to critique. This image has great negative colors, bit its just too busy for me. Looking at its positive, it is obvious that everything is well-focused, but presenting it as a negative makes it look too soft. i also think that the composition suffers from the centering of the flower in the frame. While I am no stickler for the 'rules' of photography, the rule of thirds is often very helpful with composition. I think you'd have score much higher just by cropping tightly around the subject flower itself and off centering the heart of the flower. The colors are very dramatic, and that would have also eliminated the distracting bloom at the bottom of the frame. |

Nice soft image, looks like a flower from another planet. Good use of negative image, good luck. |
