I have always wanted to try this. I like the color tones used, but cutting off the top of the filter bugs me. I guess I'd have to see it both ways to decide for sure.

Love this! I've seen it done with a red filter and it's really cool. I did this with my wedding rings but wasnt sure if it was taboo to post something you were inspired by on here (I do scrapbooking and we consider it a great compliment to copy each other!)

I like this one and I've always wanted to try this out. It's certainly been done to death, by I still like it. I like the sepia tones you've given this one, it really makes the shot. Great work.

well, I decided that I would leave a comment on the first picture in your portfolio that doesn't have a comment.
And this is the one!!!!

Yes, I've seen it before.
But what pictures haven't I seen before!
Well, quite a few actually, but you know what I'm trying to say.
Anyway, this is a good attempt at it.
Very good.
I don't think I would be able to control it a well as this.
The only thing I'm not too keen on is the use of the bible, but I'm not a religious person, so that's understandable.
I think the choice of color works well, especially in getting away from the red.
the hot spot in the top left is also a little distraction.
But overall I think you've done a great job.

And you even gave Konador due respect (even though you spelt his name wrong :-))

7-not original enough for an 8, but definitely worth more than a 6.
