Too small, have a look at the tutorial in the Learn section

I'm no expert on photography (quite far from it actually) but I think this photo is both way too unclear and too small. You can barely see at first what's on it (I really had to lean closer to the screen to be able to make it out but maybe I'm just getting old). Also I don't really see how that saying fits the photo.. I see no birds, no stones and no killing. Just a cute silly cat stuck on top of a birdhouse :) Maybe it's waiting for the birds to kill them... but I'd have liked to see some birds on the picture :P
However, it's a really cute cat! :D Looks exactly like my cat :P (and my cat is extremely silly like this one!)

Felt the image was too small to see any birds, dead or otherwise. Image had very low contrast, which can be cleaned up by adjusting contrast in editing. Detail was a bit soft, but often adjusteing contrast and adjusting focus clears it up some.

This photo is small and very soft on focus. I'd suggest either getting closer or use more zoom if possible. Using the 640 max size here is important as well as having colorful and sharp images. I like the idea of the cat with the birdhouse, but at its size and the lighting its very hard to pick that out without staring. Most voters wont spend the time. I'm bumping you up a bit now.

Too small, hard to see the detail. Very creative idea however.

I think by now you've heard that this image is just far too small
05/07/2006 02:22:40 AM
Did the cat get the birds?

Image is small. All of the background features are distracting and the subject get lost in it, IMO.
05/06/2006 09:00:13 PM
dude, i can't see the birds nor the stone cause the image is small.
05/06/2006 05:59:33 PM
looks like it could be a good idea, but unfortunatley the size of hte image and the poor focus let you down. i think a tighter crop would help with the clarity - less distraction around the subject.

Next time make image bigger and maybe give it some contrast.
05/05/2006 07:21:48 AM
Sorry its so small it's too hard to vote on.
05/05/2006 07:21:21 AM
The image is too small to see the detail.

This looks to have been a good moment to capture, but with an image this size and sharpness I fear the score will not be very high.
05/04/2006 04:58:10 PM
too small.
05/04/2006 08:33:23 AM
Image is very small and hard to see clearly.
05/04/2006 12:31:38 AM
oops, as I'm sure many people have already said, this is too small to be very successful here. next time, really try and use the full 640 pixels you are allowed. it mankes a real difference in the votes you will get.
05/04/2006 12:12:05 AM
much too small and out of focus to judge properly.
05/03/2006 11:10:43 PM
The image is too small
05/03/2006 11:08:56 PM
you should try and use all the space given in terms of image size
05/03/2006 08:45:23 PM
should be a little bigger, can't really see it and also kind of blurry
05/03/2006 02:59:15 PM
This is too small to see.
05/03/2006 02:22:26 PM
seems blurry. very difficult to make out what's going on.
05/03/2006 10:34:05 AM
confusing

photo is far to small...what is going on in it? an old tree?

I give it a 2
