This is another one I'd call an almost. The subject is interesting, it looks like something that could be in the local papers, but it lacks a bit technically. The sign and the steam in the BG are a bit too prominent, taking away from the main subject. The ship could use a bit better focus - perhaps you were shooting from very far away? I'd also prefer (though you may not have been able to do anything about it) that the fireboat was not in the frame at all.

Love this one. Great contrast between old and new. Even more poignant to consider that the original may have transported sugar. I like how you caught the flag flying straight and backlit.
