 Friday evening I decided I would drive up to the top of this hill to
see what kind of pictures I could get while it was
still light out. It is a very quiet road, but I was
following this other car up, we were about half way
and all of a sudden I see that he sort of runs over a
squirrel, just kind of clipped it. I was able to
avoid the squirrel, but there was nothing I could do
to help him. I decided I would take his picture though.

I pull over to the side and I see that he is still
alive and I start taking a few pictures as he is just
laying there. All of a sudden after I get two or
three decent shots off he just scurries away, and up a
tree. This is his picture.

It would be one thing if there were a car wheel about to smush the squirrel, but there doesn't seem to be any immediate danger to convey the title.

Did the squirrel get hit by a car or something? I like the photo, just not understanding the relationship with the quote.

I was flicking throught he Challenges and scoring and this little Fella stopped me right in my Tracks.
It just looks so sad, what a story this picture tells

Excellent detail and focus, but it seems a bit grainy. Maybe shoot at a lower ISO or run through Noise Ninja or Neatimage.
