And now... the rest of the story...
Flugtag is German for "flight day". It is a light hearted, tongue in cheek competition sponsored by power drink maker "Red Bull" to build human powered craft and launch them over water.
This flugtag "craft" was intended use a new, untried technique to have the pilot stand on top of the three story replica of ASU's mascot, Sparky, holding a paraglider and sail sail off to a new Flugtag distance record when launched over water. The idea failed when the pilot was unable to hoist and safely hold the paraglider and it tumbled to the ground.

1-Convert to 16-bit, .tff format
2-Noise reduction, minor cloning
3-Standard Levels contrast adjustment with some masking
4-Curves Midtone adjustment
5-Reduce Magenta color cast
6-Selective color sky color adjustment
7-50% greyscale overlay layer highlighting
8-Rotate, crop, resize, convert to 8-bit sRGB
9-Smart Sharpen with masking adjustments
10-Final sky noise reduction and minor highlighting
11-Save for web |

| there is probably a story in this photo, but it should be shot from a different perspective to really bring the story out. as is, it is more of a snapshot of an event that you were at than a true photojournalistic shot. |

| How fun! I'm envious that you got to see this. It's a really cool shot; although I do think the heads in foreground detract a bit. Otherwise, great colors, subject matter and composition. |

| Why the Film at 11! on the title? Kinda cheesed up what could have been a decent title. The photo is interesting, but not sure what I should be looking at. |
