I love the flowers in the median. It's such an irony, don't you think? Great perspective. Sepia was a good choice. |

I like the static, symmetric composition in addition to the absence of people/cars to convey desolation. Nice! |

I am not actually sure where the desolation part is. The picture does not give me the idea of desolation. |

The light posts, sign and towers imply a populated area, so it doesn't say "desolation" to me. The picture has a lot of jaggies in it that are distracting. |
