This score may be bad. Maybe people will think it loosely fits in the challenge. I relly like how the fish and the one guys arm is blurred. It makes it look as if the fish is outside the aquarium.

From the New Georgia Aquarium.

Edits:

Cropped
I dodged a little on the two people standing there to bring them out a little.
Cloned out a few things in the glass and some stuff in the background.
Bumped the saturation of the blue and cyan to about +19
Neat image twice
added borders

Post Challenge: Woohoo my highest scoring entry so far. I accomplished one of my goals. As for the title. I was thinking "Schooling" for the fish and for the guy appearing to be teaching his buddy something about the fish. Hence the Schooling title. Schooling on both sides of the glass.

Also I want to add that Eric is right this thing has been a big media frenzy since its opening. We had to purchase tickets in advance and the place was jam packed.

Oh well one goal accomplished.

Well here is your 400th my man. Cool shot. Almost looks like a massive television monitor. Well done!

I thought this was a great shot. I gave it a 9.
I loved the perspective the action and the colors. Great rule of thirds and quite interesting. It fits the challenge well also.
I would have thought this would do better.

Actually, I didn't see anything wrong wit the title here. It seemed feature photo-ish to me, so no need to work on the title.

I id have issues with the dark lighting on the child, but that would have been very hard to fix in-camera. Perhaps a bit of dodging would have helped some.

Over-all, I thought it was a nice photo and scored fairly well.

To much blur for my taste. Would of been better if you could of captured the people and a few complete fish in focus. No center of focus . I wish you the best in the challenge.

this is interesting...i wish the people were exposed a little better though, this is a tough exposure to make.

I don't think the blurring helps this shot. I would prefer it if everyting were in sharp focus.

Very nice capture.

Very nice! I think this is one of the coolest entrances on all the aquariums I've been to. This one may not fare well outside the Atlanta voters, but here it has been a media frenzy from day 1. It absolutely fits the challenge. I also like the exposure that you achieved here. The guy in the left corner is nicely focused while the fish give the shot great motion. It makes want to look through the frame and see what the fishies are running from. Nicely seen and well captured. By the way, you aquarium exposure is very nice. This isn't easy light to overcome. I bet Leroy nailed you on the title. Those pesky photojournalism majors.

The light on the fish really make this image pop.

it would make the photo more interesting i think

keep up
