I picture this more in a newspaper as a quick snap of spring in the local park. Not sure that the title helps here.

Nice shot and certainly fits the challenge. It looks like the subject is really having fun. However, the landscape may not work well for a magazine.

good moment captured ... oversaturated in my opinion, compo is cool ... if shooted from ground level it would be better overall

Exposure and DOF are not helping you here. I think the idea is strong and you need to try more exposures.

i dont get why there is such a wide crop
and its so contrast i cant really make anything out
i think it be better closer

It almost works for what you were trying. What doesn't work are the distractions in the background. Crop just a bit tighter and it would work for ya.
