From the Critique Club :

Congrats for your ribboned photo in Photojournalism II.

Now about this one , during the voting time I left you a short comment.
Does it meet the challenge ? Yes , of course , it was a free study ! But maybe because it was a free study , viewers/voters expected something more.
Your entry was too minimalist for this challenge (in my opinion) , this moon maybe means something special or important for you but you haven't given clues in the title.

The colors are nice.

For reasons unknown for me , generally people don't like if the subject is centered , sincerily I'm not sure that this photo would have scored higher with a different composition like the moon in a corner.

Please feel free to email me about this critique. My name is Mambe and this is my first day in the Critique Club.

Way to capture both ends of the spectrum. ;)

I like the minimalism. I think it'd be stronger if your subject wasn't dead center, though. Maybe in the upper right corner?

Nice "toenail"

Would have been better if it had been taken with black and white.

Nothing very appealing in this shot but it's maybe minimalism or the smile of the moon ;-)

For these to really work, the composition needs to be a little more interesting than just placing the moon centrally and the moon needs to be sharply in focus.
