Greetings from the Critique Club Zeke!
Lovely soft water flow. Certainly gives a peaceful, tranquil feeling.
Just a few things: I realize the arch might be a part you wanted in this shot but I'm not convinced that it works perfectly. While it may shut the top of the image down it also makes the sky pull your eye away from the subject. As someone suggested below, a grad filter would've helped darken the sky a bit so that is definitely another route. I also see the tilt that others mentioned.
Some contrast would've also helped your score here. Everything seems to hang on the gray side and not enough on the black and white. You really need that "pop" to pull out a great score here. I also see a bit of noise that is probably from shooting at ISO 800. Drop that down and leave the shutter open longer if you need.
Overall a great effort with this beautiful image.
Thanks for the opportunity to critique this shot Zeke.

Thanks for all the comments. A lot of people mentioned that they thought it was tilted. It was just the angle as I had my camera leveled. Thanks again everyone. |

I like this shoot, nice job on the long time expo to show the water flow. Good Luck -8- |

This appears tilted to the right to me. |

Looks slightly off level, but this could be the waterfall actually angling away from you. I would have tried to level one of the lower terraces. Nicely captured blur and I like the B&W. A graduated ND filter would have been awesome for the sky. 7 for now. |

I think some more midtone contrast in the water could make the waterfall really pop. The image itself has good dynamic range, but somehow the water looks a bit flat. That may have been the effect that you were going for, I realize. Nice composotion. I like how you shot at an angle instead of straight on and how you included the top of the arch in the frame. |

I get the feeling that the whole photo is blurry ... maybe try to just have it in color next time. |

A well composed image. I like how the arch closes the top. The lighting on the waterfall is rather dull. |

Looks a little tilted - rotated a little ccw and a little bit of burning in of the shadows could help this imho. |

I like your composition here, but the tonal range is very flat. It looks like you converted it to BW from color using the graysclae mode. Using the channel mixer or the LAB method would have probaly helped your contrast a great deal. |

Brings back memories of Cornell. I wonder if the B&W conversion added anything since the result lacks contrast. |

I'd love to see it in colour |

I looked at this a long time and moved it around on my screen to try different croppings. I know you made your decision carefully on how to crop this very nice image. But it also looks really good without the arch, which to me, seems to take away from the cascade of water. Not to take away from your very nice image; I'll still score it high. |
