Very original and the mailbox frames your home beautifully. Good job.

Good for a giggle, and a lovely shot beside. A very interesting framing device. :)

Hahahahaha, I love it! Very creative. Did you try focusing on the end of the "box" instead of the house? I wonder how that would have been. Nice shot! 8.

like most people commented on my shot. something on the other end might make this work better. like a hand reaching in.

Not a bad idea, I like this better than the refrigerator shots. Not too crazy about the soft foreground or the mail in the picture though.

Nice idea, the blur annoys me a bit though. 5 points

Very creative and unusual idea. I wish the inside of the mailbox were a little sharper, but perhaps it wouldn't be as effective if it were. One of my favorites.

What a fun idea....and a beautiful home! Did you place the camera on self timer?...or does the box open from two directions? Nice work :)

no there's a different angle. did you bust the back of the mail box or did you use a timer? lol. Nice creativity. I'd like to have the whole image sharp. (I'm usually a big fan of a shallow DOF, but not here). good luck. Jacko.

fun response to the challenge - could the mail have been sharpened a bit?

M, this is a good one. I like the idea a lot. I actually had an idea to do this back in highschool for a series. I was actually going to bring my mailbox all over with me and take a bunch of shots out of it. Later, of course, I realized that it would be better to take a shot of the inside of the mailbox and then photoshop them all together. You can't do that for the challenge, so this is just about the best you could do. The composition is great (I assume you did actually move the mailbox....?) Would be great if everything was in focus, I think, although this effect works too. That would be imposible to achieve.

Very nice, clear picture! Even if the picture weren't this clear, I would stil give you a 9 for creativity! So....9 it is! :)
