Greetings from the Critique Club...
First off welcome to DPC! I hope your finish in this challenge won't discourage you from entering more challenges.
As far as this image is concern, it's not as bad as your score would indicate. The lighting is good and it's sharp, which are two things you don't normally see in images that score below a 4. Which leads me to believe had this been larger and not squeezed (if that was done) your score would have been a lot higher. So if you do nothing else make sure your images are as larger. Looking at your portfolio, the photo called "The comedian" has the type of dimensions that suit the challenges well. That alone can make a world of difference. |

An interesting way of looking at the phrase. The subject isn't completely centered and could have been a bit bigger (if you wanted to). |
