Greetings from the Critique Club...

Hi Thai :)

Here's some sound advice for you: Never submit an image that is less than 640 pixels on the longest side.

I don't think this photo does a great job of conveying your saying. This photo is also a bit of a compositional disaster. There is a lot of discontinuity in the lines, curves, shapes, and objects within the frame. There is also no reason this photo shouldn't be sharp throughout. It's a bit soft on the left side of the frame.. possibly motion blur from the slow shutter speed or from the shallow depth of field at f/2.8.

Better luck next time :)

Very nice detail on the pattern of the snake's skin. I like the monochromatic nature of the photo with the wall the same color family as the snake's skin. The darkness of the lower left doesn't help the composition though.

I've never heard that saying, but I like it. And my ignorance won't influence my rating. Well, at least not my ignorance of the saying. ;-)

Cool shot, but I think it lacks that critical "grasping" element to hold me to the shot. The snake alone isnt enough for me. Still, good effort! Good luck with the next challenge!

Never heard this saying before, but I like it!

Be careful with using direct on-camera flash. It gives the picture a look that isn't really all that desirable.

Nice shot. I like the color and the composition but I would prefer a deeper DOF to show the whole snake in focus. There is evidence of artifacts also.
