What made this shot for me was NOT the lack of a gilded cage.... instead it was the wonderful angles that brought your eyes to the focal point.... good job!

Beautiful! I just wish the lighting on the bird could have been more even, especiially around its eye. I know its not easy to take good cage shots, though.

That is one colorful bird. I like the way the curves of the cage bring your eyes down to the bird.

I just LOVE this photo! The contrasting direction of the white lines give it such a unique and clean look, and I love the capture of the bird's expession too. Very cool bird photo!!

I like how the shadows of the cage reinforce the image of the caged bird. The colors and focus are great.
