 Meet "Cole", a gorgeous Afghan Hound I met at the Wilmington Kennel Club Dog Show. I used to show Afghan's, so I always seek them out at the shows. Cole was only one of 2 entered, hopefully he did well. Shooting at dog shows is not easy at all. There's either no light, too much light, too many people, dogs and other things in the background, crates, shadows, you name it. I got lucky with this one he was all by himself with his owners (very nice by the way) on a blanket. I love the faraway look on his face, it's just how they're supposed to look. And he does have hair, hence the title.

What a beauty! Love these dogs - they're so graceful appearing (but not the brightest candle in the box LOL). You really caught a regal pose. Nice job.

I love the sharpness, and the look on the dog's face. It looks like he knows he is getting his picture taken and is posing for it.

A very regal-looking dog, good pose. Cute goatee too! Nice balanced lighting and good catchlight. Not a standout wow factor photograph but a good technical one.
