Impressive portrait, missing the full tonal range here though. Some added contrast would have given it more kick.

There's something sad about this. He's smiling yet the world doesn't really smile back (indicated by the lack of color). For that reason and because this is a good photo in general it gets a 10. Good luck!

Great portrait. I wasn't quite getting smile from him, not that his visage isn't pleasant, but it wasn't really making me smile thereby driving home the saying.

My first impression was that this image seems a little washed out, but the more I look at it, the more it seems to fit the characteristics of the man. If anything I just feel your border is a tad too small for my liking, but that might just be personal preference. ALso, the fact that he is not giving a typical ear-to-ear smile lends to the mood. Well done and good luck for the next challenge!
