I'm surprised this didn't score higher. It's a good, clean image that actually meets the challenge instead of relying on the title to meet it halfway.

Great idea.. love the gooey trail of molasses hanging off the spoon. The shadow is a bit distracting.. perhaps moving the spoon further away from the background to help soften it or get rid of it completely.

Great detail and depth on the molasses. Didn't like the shadow. Maybe it was too close to the spoon. Also, the image did meet the challenge and it was definitely well depicted but maybe too literal.

Great clarity, and a fine example of how sometimes less is more.

Good idea, but, lighting could have been better. For me, the shadow is distracting.

Great idea. May be a honneyspoon made of wood works better than a regular spoon.

You know, this is very beautiful, but for me, the shadow is overpowering.

The idea is good but you should've tried to avoid the shadow for more impact...

Very simple, clean shot. If anything I would just say it lacks a little "firepower" in terms of visual appeal, but technically it's more than sound!

I think this might have been better if the molasses didn't drip yet, but still clinging onto the spoon. The head of the spoon doesn't clearly show the amount of molasses. Did you get a chance to try different lighting angles? I like the simplicity of the shot.
