The Sacred Bridge in Nikko has been open for tourists since it was renovated. I finally got around to going on it (it will be closed again in a few months).
When it was reopened last year, it was much redder - it's supposed to vermillion - but the colour seems to have become quite brown (a bit of PS work here ;-))
This photo was taken 16 minutes before the rollover time so wouldn't have been eligible for the Holy Places challenge (and would have gone down like a lead balloon, as few people would think it's holy....).

The color and subtle DOF are nice here. I like the repetition too, mainly how it leads the eye up and back down.

Man, isn't it great living in Asia?

Sweet bridge... you got the colors really nicely and good lines too. Nice color contrast to the trees too... You may not have had anything to do with that though :)

I'm feeling nitpicky towards the straightness and level of the lines... Not enough to say anything concrete though...

I was there last year... but the bridge wasn't opened then :-(... probably won't be back for a couple of years.

Nice photo but the sun seems a bit bright on the bridge.
