The composition really throws it off. It needs the selective desat to bring out the tiger, whereas cropping the left third of the frame would really make the picture dynamic. I think it's a great capture. |

The selective desat is the PERFECT touch! The contrast between the black and orange is splendid...This is absolutely beautiful! |

Wow, this is great. I really like the desat on this image. I think it helps pop the tiger from his surroundings. Very strong composition, too! |

Desat is either something you love or hate it seems. I don't mind it and this is really well done. Love the tones you've got in the background. Well done! |

Not always a fan of the desat thing, but I like it here. It makes the tiger stand out that much more. The focus is perfect. |

I kind of like the desat effect. Makes the tiger pop out of the picture. |

beautiful composition. you almost get away with that cheesy desaturation effect (honestly, it's used all the time around here but how often in magazines do you see it, besides perfume ads?) |

Very interesting photo. I like the desaturation, it really brings out the colors of the tiger. Nicely done. |

This photo makes me sad... desaturating the concrete surroundings has emphasised how artificial his surroundings are. |

Awww, pretty kitty! I like the choice to desaturate everything but the tiger. Very effective. I might have placed him a little further left in the frame, without losing his tail, of course, to give him more of a destination. :-) |
