Couldn't believe I did, but I recognized you from your water hose shot! LOL I went back to see who it was again and thought, okay I'm gonna see if I was right and I was. ;-) This is another good shot. Great intensity, lighting, & focus. Nice work. |

Hey there from the Critique Club
Great composition and depth of field use. Looking at your portfolio, you really have a knack for interesting subjects and nice composition. I like the way the balls and cue stick serve to draw the viewer up and into the eyes of the player. Nice choice of wardrobe colors to contrast nicely with the table felt. The right eye seems a bit too enhanced considering the overall shadow on that side of the face. Perhaps a small light on the floor to your right would have helped eliminate this harsh shadow a bit. I wouldn't have added a lot of light because of the mood that the lighting produces. Just enough to show a little detail would have helped a great deal. |

I'm imagining quite an adventure for Don Pedro and his cue. Definitely rated R. Nice job! |

I would have chosen a bit smaller aperture and focused on the white ball and have both the guy and the cue ball in focus. The picture is above avarage though and im giving you a 6.
Btw, this is one movie I would not go to see :D |

Good shot. Nice expression on his face. I like the DOF. My choice would be to erase that thing on the bottom left and that thing in front of the yellow ball. |

Okay, this works, but I do wish you'd pull back a little and reveal some more story besides just playing pool, even if it's just one more character with a revealing expression... |

i would like to see better focus on the cue ball.good shot overall. the title maybe a little bit of a stretch but better than most. the railing in front of the 9 ball is distracting to me. nice look in the eyes. |
