| This is a shot that I want to like, but something doesn't quite work. The dead branches in the foreground, which would otherwise add some interest and depth, just seem to be misplaced and don't really add much, IMO. I like the use of selective desat, and the textures on the far concrete wall/tunnel and the brick, I just wish there was some clear focus point and object of interest. |

| Like the desat - really good job - the 'portal' looks like it could harbor a dragon.. for my personal tastes, I would like to see this shot minus the branches. |

| The three planes of this image make it intersting. You've kept them all in the DOF and so they work. I don't think its strong in the title because its slightly obscure and the pic doesn't help explain it |

| The title doesn't flow well but pretty original. I like the photo and the desat adds some nice mood. what would have been really cool is if you could have had some red lights inside like eyes. or of course flames coming out but that would be much harder. |

| I like the abstract quality of this image. Well composed. I like the colour desat and palette on the wall. However, I am having difficulty seeing the film poster qualities - maybe a dragon shadow on the wall is required (though I have no idea how you would get it). |

| Nice composition, though I'm not entirely convinced about this movie. A movie about a courtyard? From your shot I'd say the movie is really about the portal. You do a pretty good job of making me wonder what's in the portal, but then again your composition is so balanced that it adds a certain serenity that undercuts the suspense. Still I might go see the movie just for the cinematography! :) |
