Sorry to see this score so low... It doesn't have that DPC eye candy appeal, but it's a great moody shot that would be perfect for a movie of that sort. |

Bleak, desolate landscape is complemented wonderfully by the dark, grayscale editing. Great job. I want to see this movie! |

The "California" defuses your title, makes this seem like a documentary instead of the really cool indie horror movie this wants to be. Nice, provocative yet contemplative image. The darkness and graininess convey a mysterious, sullen mood. |

Imagine if this was DARK POND CRIMES or DARK POND CRISIS or DARK POND CREATURES...you might have gained more points. The title was so important in this challenge...what I am looking for in this challenge is for a creative 'wow' shot that would go on a movie poster. I think that's what the challenge is all about...while the shot is great, the title could have been more compelling. I won't mark you down for it, but just offering my 2 cents worth |

Makes me think of Blair Witch Project. I like it. How the woman mimics the tree trunks poking up out of the water. |
