| Good coloration and the silhouette is great against that sky. The sky is a little blown out just above the ground on the lefthand side. The hard focus on the pole in the FG with a soft focus on the poles and cables in the BG left a little to be desired for me. I'd rather see a larger DOF for this shot. - 6 |

I can see the idea here - the desolate nature of the silhouetted landscape contrasting with the colours of the sky. However the telegraph poles just don't create a visually stimulating image for me. Aside from that, I'd also recommend looking at alternative compositions - perhaps having the poles towards the left or right rather than almost centred? Alternatively perhaps a portrait orientation that cuts out the land to the left and right of the three poles? An interesting idea but one that just didn't come quite work for me.

| Not sure what it is but this does have the feeling I believe belongs in this competition. I think it might be the silouhette effect of the wires and poles! |
