wow ,,
nice photo ,
amazing colors , great depth of field ,
but i noticed something while i m seeing this pic ,
the green thing on the sky writed the term ( god ) in arabic which is ( allah ) ,
it s something amazing and touched my faith ,
i know it is too late to put this comment but the greatness of this image made me talk :)

Thanks for all your votes and comments! Good things to look for next time I'm setting up a night shot. I'm just glad I had my camera with me that time when they were so vibrant in the sky! |

Too bad basic editing would not let you lighten the foreground while darkening the skies. |

The ground is almost indiscernibly dark, but it's still a good picture, overall. |

If not of an uniteresting bottom (maybe it's just not enough contrast - I would like to see so much detail in it to focus more on the aurora), it would've been a killer. It's almost unreal. I particularly like the fact that you were able to catch the stars. Wonderful. 9. |

Outstanding shot. The fact that you left just enough shadow detail so we can see the road leading into the distance really adds a lot to the shot, even though the Northern Lights are clearly the main subject. |
