 Pretty much a last minute submission, this is taken at around 22:00 pm before the deadline. This is Oli Geir and his girlfriend, Ornella. She´s only 17 and very promising as a model, he is of course very used to modeling having posed for me on a couple of occasions so they did great, had trouble choosing a shot I wanted to use. Lit with a single bowens 500 gemini flash with a 75° softlite reflector.

Oh and I know my title sucks :P Was up at 01:30 AM sending this in so I was getting a bit seepy. Hope no one will mind :D

Post processing is increased contrast and saturation in raw processing, cropped and rotated (tilted a bit down to the left), small amount of healing brush, shadow/highlights and curves.

Glad to see this in the top ten (I had it pegged for a ribbon). She's only 17?!? With shots like this, I'd say she definitely has a modeling future there. Better shoot more of her now before she gets too famous! Great job.

What a gorgeous... sunset! Very nice composition and lighting, with a great theme to it. I just now noticed the rifle, it seems just a tad dark on the stock IMO. Of course, I might have been distracted by the pretty... um, sunset. ;-) This will do very well, good luck!

No offence intended to your model, but I reckon this would have worked better without the guy in the background. My eye is constantly drawn to the white of his suit, which detracts from everything else the pic has going for it.

The title is so-so, but the poster is WOW! Amazing colors in a difficult lighting situation. The guy's expression is odd but the young lady is superb! Fantastic effort!

I am guessing that you have a nice lighting rig! There is an odd blue cast to him (given the ambient shade) and a slightly distracting shadow from her. Great timing on the sunset, though.

ooh la la! wow...what I am looking for in this challenge is for a creative 'wow' shot that would go on a movie poster. I think that's what the challenge is all about...this would work! Looks like a James Bond girl
