| Thanks for all of the comments (over 10% of voters). I have learned a lot more about compressing the photos as a result of a couple of the comments, and hopefully will do a better job for my future submissions. |

| Cool rainbow, good shot. Here is a crazy idea to try. Crop so that the lighthouse is cut nearly in half. This places more emphasis on the rainbow. Then again, to others it might look silly. Just a thought. |

| I'd have tried rotating slightly CCW. If I were going to make prints, I'd probably try some local enhancement (not alowed here) to brighten the rainbow. |

| Wow! What a stroke of good luck! Nicely exposed. Would prefer not to see the bottom portion of the lighthouse...the off white part. Also the sky is very pixelated. Good shot anyway. |

| I would have liked more attention on the rainbow (brighter, more pronounced) Was there a pot of gold in the lighthouse? 7 Swash |

I think you should have raised the lighthouse some more and showed just a little less sky. The rainbow is neat but not very pronounced.

| Nice lighthouse and rainbow. I would have liked to have seen the beach or even just some water to give some perspective as to where this is. I think it would have made it a stronger photo. Also, it is slightly overexposed on the building in the center. |

| way to be in ther right place at the right time. I like the way the lighthouse is lit up against a darkened sky, and the rainbow only makes it cooler. I would suggest altering the composition, though. |

| I LOVE lighthouses. I am wondering if the part at the bottom is part of the lighthouse or something in your way. this needs just a touch of rotate to straighten up the lighthouse from it's lean. I would love to see this on a pretty day with a nice blue sky full of white clouds ! |

| This is a very nice photo. Thats said, one of the first things I noticed was the grain in the sky. Seems kind of pixelated. Sure enough, the photo was too highly compressed. File size is 19k. You can submit photos up to 150k. Less compression would probably have fixed the sky and brought out the colors a bit more. | Nice photo but i like the lighthouse more than the rainbow + lighthouse idea. The green is very sharp, if you had taken an abnormal view of it I would have given a few more points. Go back and take more photos of this cool lighthouse! 6 |
