The way I would redo this photo is I would back off 10-15 feet to allow the camera full zoom ,switch the camera to F2.8 or portrait mode, make 45" angle on the front of the car so photo will include the front grille and the side of the car and crop the photo ass much background as possible so you don't see all those black holes (or garage openings) on the back.
Otherwise lighting, contrast and focus is very well!
Here is one DOF example :visitor |

A different angle might of helped this shot. |

Brilliant subject! Perhaps a side shot to show more of this wonderful car's body with the background full of that nasty old building I see on the top left corner? At the moment, the background is split in two bits and very distracting. But with the great lines and uniformity of the far building may have been less distracting. However, well done. Good try =) |

Nice subject matter and good technical skill. I would have preferred the vehicle to have been shot from a different angle, but still a nice photo. |

This is a great shot. I love the tones you used in this photograph, and although I usually dont like straight-on shots, I think it really works for this photograph. This photograph has a real character. And I think it is just the perfect amount of clarity. |

Even the car's front looks like a sad face. |
