 Just about to go to sleep, round about midnight, when I looked outside and saw the mist.
Oodles of thick, glorious mist.
I've been waiting all winter for it.

I personally have a very difficult time shooting ground hugging fog and mist duringthe twilight hours. IMO it should be croppec a bit different, and I'd prefer to see tho temp set to make the lights white.

Nice photo, a bit over exposed. You will probably be disqualified because of the shadow and the border. You're not allowed that in Basic Editing.

Sorry, am not usually one to comment on frames but this one does not do the photo justice in this resolution, it´s mainly an attention stealer. I think frames like this work, just not here but in an art gallery and the photo printed out BIG. Shot looks nice but my attention is just so firmly grabbed by the frame I find it hard to rate this fairly.

border is huge, drop shadow is of questionable legality, picture seems nice, dark and dreary. too small because of that white stuff.

I would have done a much simpler (and smaller) border and done away with the drop shadow.

Too blown out and the border does nothing for the photo. Sorry. A shorter exposure would have helped and possiblyleaving the border out and making the picture bigger.

The idea was sooo right, it's just difficult to pull off. This sort of looks 'flat' but I don't know what it needs

Cool! I like this a lot. Very moody. One quibble -- it's maybe a little TOO yellow -- a b/w treatment or color balance adjustment might have gone better with the mood of the shot. Just my opinion. 6
