Least post-cardish of my quick attempts to size up Moscow's Christ the Saviour Cathedral. I had a really good take on it few years, but the vantage point I had is now closed and I had a choice of bog-standard white marble + blue skies + fluffy clouds or this...

This was a Basic Challenge and I believe that the Burn tool is not allowed.

I like this picture and I think it is underrated.

Hi Greetings from the Critique Club
What I like is the clouds, and the detail in the cross, I know you are aiming for a silo. shot but I find the bottom half very heavy and black. I think I may have liked this shot better if you were able to just get the cross closer up. Or cropped a significant amount of the black on bottom off. If you are going to do a central crop, it would also be good to really center it, the left bottom corner you still see sky, the right bottom you do not, would be good IMO if were equal. I think that would of improved your compostion a lot. I also wonder if you could of used the burn tool a little to make the sun slightly less bright.

I do like the idea though of the light coming thru the cross, a good use of symbolism.
Just some thoughts hope they hel, look forward to seeing more images from that part of the world.

Just curious are people there generally keen to have their photo taken?

nice idea, but I think a different aspect ratio would have improved it for me.

Good silhouette, I'd brighten it up a bit

The idea is good with having the sun behind the cross, but I am not convinced of the result, the angle is too strange and the forground too much present.

good job playing with the light.
