Ditto to the positives mentioned below. I thought this rocked as a movie photo. The lighting style was perfect. Looking at your brief history in the challenges it looks like we'll see a lot more great stuff from you. |

This would totally work as a movie poster. I think as has been said before the lighting is great and emotion in the model's face is excellent and doesn't even appear to be acting in the shot. If I had to add any critique to the image it would be that by the wrist it is abit too sharp and has a bit of a halo and on the cheek above the right eye the skin appears to have a alittle bright spots that attract the eye. In most cases it wouldn't matter but movie posters always seem to have the skins tones way over processed. If I was voting I would have voted it an 8 or 9 then sulked on to the next entry thinking about how much better this then my photo for the challenge. |

Totally agree with SJCarter, don't let it get you down. As I already said in the thread, it was one of the best in the challenge and one of the few that really looked like a movieposter to me. Great job! |

Very sorry about the DQ - it was one of the best in the challenge IMHO. Love the composition, lighting, and moody tones. Well done (although I'm sure you learned a tough but valuable lesson regarding text in entries).
EDIT: Don't let it get you down. I received my first DQ recently and was told it was sort of like an initiation rite of passage... ;-)

Really a powerful one, I love the postprocess, too, and that talkative composition with the lighting. I am sure this would have done well. Don't be upset, because of the DQ, we are not running for our lives here. You see, a DQ won't take off the value of such a great photo, cheer up! ;-) |

Nice dramatic lighting and good pose. I think this works well as a movie poster.
Don't worry about your DQ - you've been doing very well in your short time here at DPC! |

Unfortunate mistake but you live and learn. It really is a good photo and the title sent it into a very believable movie poster. |
