| This photo is very well done, but it relies on the title to make the link to "holy places." A photo that speaks for itself will always score better than one that requires the title to link it into the challenge. This is quite pretty, but not very strong link to the challenge. |

| the photo itself is very pretty, contrast - B&W - DoF looks fine, but I can't seem to find a connection to a holy place. I won't vote you down for it though, because I'm sure this is a holy place for you :) 8 |

| I do like the grey tones on the flowers. The rest is whispy don't know. Harshly put, but I have no better perception of it. |

The lack of colour the one white focused blossom and the hint of a wing. |

| Very mysterious - maybe too mysterious. There's a lot of interpretation possible in that background - it makes for an interesting image, if somewhat confusing if you don't take a lot of time over it. |

| I really like this, it's beautiful. Some might think it is a stretch to fit it into the challenge and I am not fully convinced it fits here either, but it's a beautiful photo. |

| Hmmm, ok, I was going to actually enter a nature shot if I had entered so don't think I'm DNMC for that. BUT, "holy" should mean "set apart" and I was looking for nature shots which would be quite different from a typical shot. The shot itself is nicely composed and I like the bright flower. The blurred object in the background is nicely abstract. Ok, I'll give it to you as that sorta looks like a spirit and that's what I'm guessing you were hinting at with the title. So the good and the bad are going to balance and you get a 5. |
