It's too bad.
You definetly have talent, but you had to go against the grain.
This could of done so much better in the challenge quidelines.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great pix, but maybe for a sillouette challenge.
I hope you do much better next time. I hated to downgrade this pix on a mere technicality.
Please have this pix available for a print, and I also agree, take out the 'pi' looking element near the sun.

| I think a portrait should show the person, not be a silhouette. I like the sky, the sun and the object next to the sun. |

| Nice image, beautiful colours and the composition is great. Personally I think this is stretching the challenge slightly, but hey I don't have a degree in photography so I'll let it go :) |

| I think for this to be a portrait, you need to have them clear in the shot, looking at you or at least aware that you are capturing them. I love the sunset and the silhouette, but this comes across as a candid to me. |
