i agree about the pole, i would've had them up against that gorgeous sandstone/brick wall on either side, and have her leaning up against the wall, while he leant in to kiss her...
you have done really well... great work on your first wedding...

Yeah...it's just that pole that annoys me a little and the walls on the side. It is a hard one to crop it so they are a little off-centre though without losing some of the bottom half of them. The contrast that Laurie mentioned would definately help bring them out from the background. Well worth playing around with and trying it some different ways because this photo has good potential. Well done!

This is nice; well-exposed and fairly sharp. However...having them and the pole right smack in the center is not a very dynamic or flattering composition. I'd suggest (assuming this is full frame) cropping the right side off entirely, to just past his shoulder. Perhaps a 10x8 crop might work that way, you'll just have to play around with it. Some contrast adjustment might help them pop a bit more as well. Her dress seems to be a tiny bit bluish on my monitor, which can be easily corrected by selecting it and desaturing the blues just a tiny bit. Of course, it could be my monitor.
