Lenscap?
05/23/2006 11:51:28 AM
Where is the lenscap?
05/23/2006 07:04:35 AM
beautiful shot.. but ...
05/22/2006 07:00:37 PM
Try as I might, I can not see a lenscap, and the lean of the whole photo doesn't help, either. I assume you confused "lenscap" with "landscape".
05/22/2006 02:16:51 PM
good shot. Is he floating in a lense cap? lol. Doesnt meet challenge, though its a bit blurry, and the horizon is crooked, its a nice try.
05/21/2006 08:16:25 PM
Uhh where's the lenscap?
05/21/2006 07:57:48 PM
Interesting photo. I do not see the association to the lenscap theme however. (Sorry, but I cannot vote higher therefore.)
My opinion on the image by itself: I would consider straightening the image, and cropping some off the bottom. Just my opinion. I like the reflections in the water and the lone fisherman. Good idea.
05/21/2006 07:27:23 PM
and the lenscap?
05/21/2006 12:57:46 AM
no lens cap
05/20/2006 11:03:09 PM
Sorry, don't see the lenscap...
05/20/2006 09:19:27 PM
I like your idea but I don't see a lens cap.
05/20/2006 08:04:02 PM
Can't find a lens cap. probably staring me right in the face.
05/20/2006 12:50:42 PM
where is the lenscap??????????????
05/20/2006 10:50:54 AM
I can't quite see the lenscap...
05/20/2006 04:33:35 AM
Where's the cap?
05/19/2006 03:34:26 PM
No lens cap that I can find.

It looks like there was difficult lighting. The darks are good but the rest seems washed out. While I often like the use of big "negative space", I think it works against this particular shot. Zooming or cropping would give me a better impression of what the man is doing.
05/19/2006 06:24:57 AM
Sorry but I cant see any lens cap here. Oh, yeah! Perhaps it fallen down into the lake. DNMC to me.
05/19/2006 12:00:43 AM
DNMC
Horizon is not lelve
Focus is soft
05/18/2006 11:21:55 PM
Uh-oh. . .I see another one here that looks like it should have been in another challenge ??? I love the photo (except for the tilt), It's really neat looking with the mist and the pinks. ..but can you pm me and tell me about the lenscap? Nice photo!
05/18/2006 11:17:11 PM
wheres the lens cap?
05/18/2006 08:52:15 PM
DNMR
05/18/2006 08:51:13 PM
Where is the lenscap?
05/18/2006 07:49:01 PM
Lens cap? I know my eyes are not as good as they used to be, but I'm not seeing any lens cap.
05/18/2006 06:40:33 PM
?
05/18/2006 06:12:35 PM
With the water obviously rushing downstream to the left, is that where the lenscap is?
05/18/2006 05:12:56 PM
Am I missing a lenscap somewhere? This is a lovely photograph but the image is tilted. It would be greatly improved by straightening it up.
05/18/2006 03:53:14 PM
Where is the lenscap?
05/18/2006 01:38:43 PM
Wow - are you going for the brown??? Horizon tilted - bad focus, lack of color and NO lenscap.....
05/18/2006 11:15:42 AM
There is no lens cap in the photo and does not meet the challenge.
05/18/2006 01:18:38 AM
What the hell? Where are the lens caps? Is the guy tossing them from the boat? If so, I can't do anything but "take your word for it." If he is doing so, you should have shown so better; if not, then this image just doesn't belong in this challenge. It's a nice shot (I rather like the tilt of the horizon [sincerely]), but I can't give it a high score because of the distinct possiblity that it disregards the "lens-cap" theme.
05/18/2006 12:39:53 AM
LENSCAP WHERE?
05/17/2006 09:11:58 PM
where's the lenscap?
05/17/2006 09:02:30 PM
Is that a lenscap I see in his hand...probably not!! DNMC
05/17/2006 08:26:46 PM
Uh, there's no lenscap anywhere in the photo.
05/17/2006 06:10:03 PM
Where is the lens cap?
05/17/2006 06:02:27 PM
Not trying to be mean, just explaining the low vote: DNMC - no lens cap.
I think that perhaps the challenge was misinterpreted as 'Landscape'(?). Had the challenge been landscape, this would have been my comment: Your horizon is badly tilted - everything is running downhill to the left. Centering the boat and fisherman is not very interesting compositionally. The reflection is nice, and the colors are soothing, but unfortunately it is not enough to overcome the tilt and the composition.
05/17/2006 03:59:19 PM
I don't see a lenscap.
05/17/2006 03:09:42 PM
and another 'where's the lens cap' shot...
05/17/2006 03:07:36 PM
Where's the lens cap? Nice picture, but I'm afraid your score will reflect not meeting the challenge.
05/17/2006 02:25:59 PM
Don't see a lenscap?
Nice photo though, needs straightening IMO
05/17/2006 02:11:11 PM
Not sure about 'lens cap'... but its a nice shot
05/17/2006 02:10:52 PM
did he catch a lenscap?
05/17/2006 01:32:02 PM
The photo doesn't seem to contain a lenscap. Additionally, the angle at which the photo is taken makes the camera look like it was tilted. I would have rotated the picture to make the riverbank horizontal to improve this shot.
05/17/2006 12:58:31 PM
I'm sure by now you realise there's no lenscap, so I'll comment on the photo you DID submit. I do like the colour and haze, but the tilted horizon is a major distraction, and easily corrected. Also, centering your subject gives a very static feel. Try cropping to the rule of thirds and see the difference. If you're not sure about any of this, a search of the forums will bring up a wealth of information :)
05/17/2006 12:35:49 PM
Um... you lost me on the connection to the challenge on this one.
05/17/2006 11:31:02 AM
This would be a better presentation oif the horizon was level. Great color and composition! 6
05/17/2006 11:13:15 AM
Very nice picture, sorry wrong challenge though.
05/17/2006 10:33:43 AM
what?
05/17/2006 08:41:41 AM
I don't see a lenscap
05/17/2006 07:27:03 AM
crooked horizon and no visible lenscap?
05/17/2006 07:06:48 AM
beautiful!
05/17/2006 06:57:37 AM
hmm, I think I'm missing the lens cap, but nice photo
05/17/2006 06:13:05 AM
i dont see the lenscap here. 3
05/17/2006 05:58:21 AM
Lol! Sorry but did you forget to read the challenge description or are you aiming for the brown ribbon. I´ll help you along with that if that was your goal :) 1 from me.
05/17/2006 05:33:14 AM

ALso, horizon is crooked, should always be dead-on with photos like this one.
05/17/2006 03:04:12 AM
DNMC?
05/17/2006 02:53:59 AM
Wrong challenge?
05/17/2006 02:42:59 AM
Ha ha, did you enter the wrong challenge?
05/17/2006 02:01:29 AM
A lenscap is supposed to be the main subject in this challenge. I can only guess that the man in the boat dropped his lenscap in the lake and is trying to retrieve it using a net.
05/17/2006 12:39:18 AM
??
05/17/2006 12:34:30 AM
wrong challenge?
