looks neat, good eye but i just with the shadows were darker and the sky, hmm anything except plain white. |

Wow. Neat shot. Love the textures and shadows. Lincoln's eyes almost appear to be glassy. I am curious as to how you got such a head-on shot. Normally you would be looking up at this correct? |

I don't know what all that means. ..about the spiritual ignorance, but I think it's an incredible photo! I don't know that I've ever had the advantage of seeing such a close-up of that amazing work of art!

I like this picture because by focusing in on just two of the presidents, including the one who is (literally and figuratively) overshadowed by the others, you force us to look at it in a new way. Personally, I find the sculpture to be an ugly and awkward act of hubris and spiritual ignorance, and your photo depicts that perfectly, with its random outcroppings of rock violently juxtaposing with the faces. Lincoln is looking appropriately embattled. |
