An interesting moment, although the light is pretty nasty for a successful shot - that glare and haze need some treatment to bring out the dynamic of the scene I think.

The light is a bit harsh here, which does these lovely birds no justice. There's a dust spot in the upper left quadrant.

I like the image overall, and feel it meets the challenge. I would have liked to see the colors brought out more in the trees of the background, and the spot along the right cloned out.
