 Meet Ginger.
Ginger works in the Cath Lab at Palomar Hospital.
Ginger attended to me, 6 years ago when I had my 1st heart attack, and lately, after the last 2 episodes I had.
Ginger is an incredible woman - friendly, a hugger, under 5' tall, and is never seen without a smile.
I dedicate this portrait challenge to her, and immortalize her here, as she is someone very important in my life.

Hmmm. First, let me say I think it's great you wanted to, and did, immortalize Ginger this way.

But I got much more out of the shot after reading your notes. Sometimes I wish we could have a challenge where the photo is combined with the notes to tell a story.

Strictly as a photo, I wasn't quite sure what her uniform meant since it's not the classic "nurse white." And, of course, I had no idea of her specialty.

I wonder if this would've done better with a less-busy background and maybe showing her with some of the equipment she uses?

NIce colors and sharpness. I think it could have done with a little cropping from the bottom of the pic. Nice job.
