 After I lost the lenscap on my Nikon Coolpix 990 a friend told me I could replace it by cutting the bottom out of a Kodak film cannister. It only works with Kodak black cannisters, and sometimes the top part fits better than the bottom.
The picture was taken with available light through two windows. Adjustments included levels, crop, unsharp mask.

uh oh... nice composition and I like your solid background, maybe more focus on canister could help photo, nice work overall, I like it

Would have been more powerful if you'd shown this on an actual camera, but I imagine you took a shot with that camera... this way the title makes it meet the challenge, which is not *that* bad, but does not produce a high-scoring image either. 5.
