Too hard for me to tell what it is, but it isn't "abstract" enough to count as an abstract. |

You have very good detail on the wood. Wondering why you showed so very little of the vase, though. Even if it had something growing in it, I think by having the top cut off it upsets the flow of the composition. |

This does not meet the challenge - inanimate but not an arranged composition of objects.

I like the pot... cropping about two thirds of the siding would help place the attention more on the pot. An additional object might enhance the mood also. |

You did a fine job of capturing texture and contrast. I feel that the subject is the jar in the foreground, however the focus is on the siding. You might have tried to have more subjects to make it more in the style of still life. |
