By definition, I believe that flames are animated - and therefor not part of a still life photograph.

Good attempt, bu the candle flame is blown out, and there ought to be some more light on the background objects.

I find the lighting very distracting in this photograph. But very nice content/theme.

The brightness of the flame takes away from the mood of the shot to me.

This meets the challenge - inanimate and arranged. It's hard to include a light source with the light it sheds. You probably need to cheat - there's a little project...

The candle sets a great mood for this photo.

I gave this photo a 1 because it didn't seem to me to fulfill my expectation of a "still life," a classic form of artfully arranged objects. Call me narrow minded but that's the way I see it. The photo is very dark. perhaps if i could see more of it, I could vote it higher.

Bit too dark for subject to stand out on my monitor.

A bit too dark to tell what this is...also, the blurred candle on the right is demanding attention, even though it appears that whatever is in the background should be the main subject.
