Globular Clusters consist of thousands of hot stars that compacted.

M5 is a cluster with a very hot center. It is very bright and large, and is approximately 132 lightyears in diameter. It is "only" 26,000 lightyears from earth.

This single exposure was taken on May 16, 2006 with a Canon 20Da attached prime with a Meade LX200 GPS SCT, with a 6.3 focal reducer. The time of this expposure is 1 minute.

I used Photoshop CS2 within the guidelines of "Advanced Editing" for a single exposure.

I like this shot, but when I tend to think cold when I look at space.

The composition is ok. The image quality is ok. The subject matter could have been better. This picture could be a little more creative.

wow, is this some far away galaxy? If so you´re surely expressing great amount of energy and heat but not sure everyone get´s the point. 9
