CPTdos, ayos!

Not very creative or gimmicky, but still a well-done SP. The red background hurts my eyes and you would've been more guapo without it.
Flash-lit? A diffuser in front of that white light source would help, IMO.

hi from ctp2:

I thought this might be you during the voting. This is a nice, well lit portrait. I like the pose you've chosen, and it definately shows how you are. I'm not sure the red background works real well for me, though. It's a little over powering.
Nice job!

Hi from CP2!

I like this shot! Not to sure on the red though. The red in the bottom corner is a bit distracting.

Hey Shailesh -

The first thing I notice here is the red background. I'm going to contradict myself from my previous comment - after a few viewings, I'm not crazy about it. It's a very harsh color and overpowers you. There's a shadow on your hand that might have been eliminated with a reflector, and the picture isn't perfectly sharp.

First impression: Happy guy, good shot!
Pros:
Good focus, good contrast, good lighting.
Cons:
The background is not clean, a bit to red :-), the shadow distracts.
What could be done better:
Go a bit further from the wall to get rid of the shadow.
Nothing else to say, overall a really nice portraiture.

You may not have the most creative shot going but you have a really well done sp here. The red may be a bit much but you did real well.

cropping tighter into the hair would have made it stronger

Returning for comments. Excellent job with lighting and the composition. The image is also very sharp but best of all your personality shines through. So good job overall. No real complaints with anything. The hand is a bit cut off but that doesn't bother me and maybe the background red is a bit too intense but it does contrast well with your shirt and hair.

Good choice with the red background, though I don't like that I can see so much of the white shirt.

Could this be or most improved photographer from the WPL? Somehow this face rings a bell anyway, is this Shailesh? Good shot anyway, just could benefit from a less strong colored backround and softer lighting, that´s all but above average in this challenge, 6 from me.

Sully! This is excellent. Nice lighting and expression. Clear focus. You did good!!! (not nuts about the red, but otherwise - a-ok) You just jump out at me. Bumping up. Great SP

Lighting is good. I'm not thinking the background suits though. Expression is good and the tilt of the head. Mouth looks a tad shiny perhaps.

Nice portrait - the red background suits you. I love your expression as it seems like a natural and sincere smile. 8 from me

Honestly, I never cared for red backgrounds. However, it works with this shot and I like it.
