Here is one example where I think the photo is lacking. You have good placement of the horizon and the colors are good. Just all the interest is on the same plain. My eye does not want to move, it just stays at the horizon. A boat, a tree, the curve of the land toward the front of the image would have lent alot to this image.

| wow, this is a nice photo that you could really perk it up using bear_music's PS tip on gradients for the sky and water. Also, maybe you could bring out the warm colors that are above and below the mountains, great vertical landscape shot! |
