You're son is a failure?
I see a crying child, I don't think this is a failure. Maybe he did something that was a failure but this picture won't tell is.
And it's blurry, which in some cases makes the picture more dynamic, but here it's not needed in my opinion.

I think you may have mistakenly entered this in the "failure" challenge. Should have been in the "success" challenge IMO

It's a bit too dark, but the main problem is the size. Always try to use the full size parameter allowed by DPC. Small images lose detail and normally do not score very highly.

Interestingly enough I actually like the effect you captured with the blurring on the backs of the heads but faces are pretty much in focus. :) Well done.

Sorry but too dark and small to be able to judge fairly, would suggest you stay as close to the 640 pixles you are allowed next and make sure the photo is brighter for a better score.
