This is as tenuous as I've been in a challenge. Basically, I wanted to find a game of rugby league at the weekend but nothing was playing. Therefore, I got home, went for a walk and stumbled passed a few snails. For some bizarre reason (honestly I wasn't on drugs), I started wondering what sports snails could play. So hey presto Snail sumo was born.
Hopefully people can see that one snail has 'successfully' pushed the other snail out. I'm expecting a low score, with lots of DNMC. To be honest, I just wanted to try out my Kenko extension rings :)

::: Critique Club :::
Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
I prefer sumo snails to league anyday and I am a kiwi!
Composition:
I love this shot and the crop, a minor adjustment to the top of the shot would have put the snails heads right on thirds ... not sure it would have helped but technical people would have picked that up.
Subject:
I don't think the DNMC got you I think the lack of understanding the sumo rules did ... cos this picture epitomises success in sumo.
Technical (Colour and light):
love the colours and lighting. I have never really taken such a close look at snails so this is really cool .. and no I am also not on drugs.
To grow its vote?:
Tell people the rules of the game then they will get it ... bloody hard that one.
Summary:
I think this is so out of left field it is fantastic .. I am sorry that it did not do better ... but that is peoples opinions for ya.

Snails are pretty much the coollest things, ever. Except for morphine... sweet, sweet morphine... How I hate it. |

Nice colors and textures. Do snails really relate to each other? |
